For the last 13 years, I’ve been one of the lucky ones! My passion for changing lives has become my life’s work, and I haven’t reported to a “job” ever since. Being a strength and conditioning geek, combined with a desire to serve a greater purpose than myself has helped me land in a field that was I was born to live. After a few years of living in corporate America, I quickly realized that my dreams would never be realized unless I was on the ground level helping people grow and become successful. I dove head first into fitness as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, strength and conditioning coach and CrossFit trainer and haven’t looked back since.   • What’s your biggest contribution as a Coach?

    The athletes I train know and understand right away that they will absolutely get my best every hour of every day. When they see this, they are inspired to give the same effort back, and everybody wins. Sometimes all it takes is for people to see in you what you may not see in yourself, and that’s what ultimately creates positive change.

  • What brought you to coaching?

    Coaching = giving selflessly. Giving selflessly = growth. Growth = happiness. It’s an easy formula.

  • Favorite movement or workout?

    Elizabeth!

  • Least favorite movement or workout?

    The over-rated...overhead squat!

  • What do you like to do outside of Origin Fitness?

    I’m a family man at heart. Balance in life is key. Love spending QT with family and doing just about anything outdoors.

  • Advice for someone starting or wanting to start CrossFit.

    Find a way to enjoy it! Like anything else, it has to be challenging if it’s going to change you. Keep reminding yourself of the reason you want to change. Ask yourself the right questions.
