I am Jennifer Murata and I am the Nutrition Coach at Origin Fitness. I am proud to say that I am a founding member of Origin Fitness along with my husband and two teenagers. As a wife of a busy Marine and a mom of teens, I truly value my time spent with all three of them in the gym. My professional pursuits have always been focused on nutrition and fitness. I received a BS in Nutritional Sciences and completed my Masters in Complementary Alternative Medicine with an emphasis in Holistic Nutrition. In the past, I have been a personal trainer, Pilates instructor, and taught healthy eating cooking classes. In this position, I’ve seen what an impact one-on-one guidance can make in someone’s health journey. I believe that each of us has our own unique nutritional needs (based on biology, preferences, and goals). My goal is helping people determine exactly what that is.
Nutrition is the component that can make a good athlete great and take results from modest to life-changing. There is nothing better than helping one of our members find what works for them nutritionally and witnessing it change every aspect of their lives.
The intersection of passion, education, and genuine connection with staff and members makes nutrition coaching at Origin Fitness a perfect fit for me.

I’m over 40 and I’ve had kids...so any kind of jumping is not my favorite. Any other moms out there know what I’m talking about here.
I love to go on hikes, practice yoga, eat good food, and spend time with my family and our 3 dogs.
Come try CrossFit and exercise at Origin Fitness. If you’re at all intimidated (like I was), just know that everything is scalable and you will not find a more encouraging and supportive group of people.
